2014 In Review: JKT48 Single Senbatsu

In 2014, JKT48 released 4 singles. There are ‘Flying Get’ (3/5), ‘Gingham Check’ (6/11), ‘Kokoro no Placard’ (8/27) and ‘Kaze wa Fuiteiru or The Wind is Blowing’  (12/24).

Senbatsu
In 2014, eight members always selected in the senbatsu list. They’re Melody Nurramdhani, Jessica Veranda, Haruka Nakagawa, Shania Junianatha, Nabilah Ratna Ayu, Devi Kinal, Cindy Yuvia and Ratu Vienny.

Melody, Veranda, Haruka, Shania and Nabilah are five names which always included in the senbatsu list since JKT48 released 1st single ‘River’ at 2013 till 8th single ‘Kaze wa Fuiteiru’ at the end of 2014.

Rona Anggraeni is a member who has never participated on a single senbatsu in 2014. Whereas in 2013, Rona always senbatsu.

Debut
Some members have an opportunity to debut at JKT48’s released singles in 2014. They’re Ghaida Farisya, Sendy Ariani, Alicia Chanzia in 5th single ‘Flying Get’; Thalia in 6th single ‘Gingham Check’; and Thalia Ivanka and Chikano Rina in 7th single ‘Kokoro no Placard’.

Sousenkyo
At March, JKT48 held senbatsu sousenkyo. This is the first senbatsu sousenkyo held by an overseas AKB48’s Sister Group.

Gingham Check is JKT48’s  6th single senbatsu sousenkyo. Melody Nurramdhani was selected as senbatsu center with 14.541 votes. Difference 1.256 with Jessica Veranda at top second.

Tata –Thalia nickname– tasted senbatsu after selected at 6th single senbatsu sousenkyo by 6.290 votes. Different from Tata, Gingham Check is the only single that  was not listed  Shinta Naomi throughout 2014 after failed at sousenkyo.

AKB48
For the second time, JKT48 released single same time with their sister group from Japan, AKB48. Kokoro no Placard is AKB48’s 37th single senbatsu susenkyo.

Riskha Fairunissa or Ikha is JKT48’s member who always included in senbatsu when JKT48 and AKB48 released single together. But, not  in the other singles.
